Academic Programs
Reading & Writing
Early Readers (pre-K-3rd grade): We assist students in mastering their letters and letter sounds, and in sounding out all different types of words.
Reading Comprehension (1st-9th grade): Through teaching our students to visualize text, we help them improve their ability to understand and retain information they read.
Study Skills (3rd-10th grade): We work with students to help them organize their notebooks, assignments, and class notes.
Writing Skills (1st-8th grade): We assist students in writing with correct sentence structure and punctuation. Students are also taught to add more structure and detail to their writing.
Math
Elementary (1st-5th grade): We work with students in all areas from adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, to solving word problems, rounding, place value, and working with fractions and decimals.
Junior High (6th-8th grade): We provide direct instruction as well as consistent and structured practice in topics such as ratios and proportions, exponents, percents, integers, fractions, geometry, and algebra.
